We MADE it!

Ok so on our 3rd attempt this year Cassie and I made it to the summit of Monument Mtn. in Great Barrington!  The other two times we tried w/ my mom and couldn't make it.  It was because Toby was able to carry Cass on his shoulders for some of the way up and on the way down.  It will be 8 years ago this Nov. when Toby and I did it just ourselves. It will be easier and easier now that Cassie is getting older to do the more outdoor things that Toby and I enjoyed as a couple.  

We're waiting on the phone call that tells us that everyone is will ready for the next step with the land.  Hopefully we can find two perfect holes so we can proceed w/ the plans. (need to see if we have enough soil to put a septic system in on the property w/o hitting ledge).  It's a curve ball thrown into our plans, but I think God just wants to remind us that he's in control since everything else so far has been smooth sailing. 

So onto the rest of our weekend, tomorrow hopefully will just be a lazy day after church.  Next weekend we'll be busy yet again w/ birthday party's.  I get torn w/ loving the weather during spring,summer and fall being able to be outdoors, but we're always so busy.  We get a break in the winter BUT then we get bored of being cooped up!  Got to love New England I suppose. =)
