So after 7 months it has finally been done! What a relief! What are you wondering, what were we waiting for for THAT long?? the septic system to be put into the ground! now we will be able to have a working potty in a few weeks! no more potty chair. we've come a long way with that potty chair. last year spring through winter we used it out in the woods, then since September we were able to use it in the basement since we had walls! We've come a long way, this building process at times seemed hopeless. Never ending, we were so close yet so far away. Now dealing with the whole do i really want to move!? ( a little too late now) Prayers have been answered, and i've gained patience so it is all for nothing. We will be in our new home, brand spankin' new home in a few short months.

WOW!

So it's been forever since I have posted anything. Not that many of you fall off your seats with anticipation for my amazing posts.

Well as most of you know we're getting down to the wire for the house project. All sheet rock is finally done. The kitchen cabinets are being delivered today and the taper is hopefully going to start tonight.

Through this all...I've had to lean on the Lord so many times. He has stretched me in so many directions. One big one is giving it over to Him daily. I can't control everything in my life, not even building our "dream house".

I knew throughout this whole project it was going to be in HIS timing, not ours, HIS plan, not ours. Yes most of our ideas are there, and yes lots have changed.

So as I continue along this journey I'm thankful every day for a husband that can do everything, everything the Lord blessed him with. For Cassie to see a start to finish on something HUGE...that perseverance works. What a big lesson for a 5 year old.
